Asia Argento, born in Rome to a family that includes actors and directors, was a professional in both fields. In 1985 she made her acting debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. The film was made in collaboration with Asia as well as screenwriter/actress Linda McCartney. The film released May 2000 both in Italy as well as throughout the rest the world. It was awarded a special prize by the Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn. Anna Lou was born in 2001, after having directed a few music videos. The year 2002 saw Asia on The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thrille directed with Vin Diesel. Asia is also the creator of numerous short stories published in many famous magazines.
